About the Hospital

A hospital designed around rehabilitation.

Ascot Rehab Hospital is not a general ward with a rehabilitation unit attached. It is a purpose-built neurorehabilitation facility — designed around specialist rehabilitation, from the layout of the therapy gym to the design of patient bedrooms.

Inpatient, outpatient and outreach rehabilitation can be coordinated through the Ascot Rehab team, helping suitable patients move between care settings where clinically appropriate and operationally available.

Every feature of Ascot Rehab Hospital is designed to support rehabilitation, comfort and safe clinical care.

Private En-Suite Rooms
Inpatient rooms are private with en-suite bathrooms, adjustable hospital beds and comfortable furnishings. Specific room features may vary and can be confirmed before admission.
Specialist Therapy Gym
A large, purpose-built therapy gym with parallel bars, specialist neurological equipment, ceiling hoists, functional everyday-living zones and dedicated space for robotic rehabilitation technology.

An on-site warm-water hydrotherapy pool can support buoyancy-assisted therapy for suitable patients, subject to clinical assessment, pool availability and therapist recommendation.
Robotic Technology Suite
Hocoma Lokomat, RehabHub by Fourier Intelligence and Giger MD equipment may support task-specific practice, movement repetition and therapist-led rehabilitation where clinically appropriate.
24-Hour Specialist Nursing
Specialist rehabilitation nursing support is provided for inpatients, including monitoring, medication support and personal care, according to each patient’s care plan and clinical needs.
Family Spaces & Gardens
Family visiting areas, quiet gardens and communal spaces help support family involvement where appropriate, with patient consent and in agreement with the clinical team.
