How To Be Referred

Ascot Rehab provide the highest quality rehabilitation and care, accepting patients from a wide range of referral sources; Consultants, Embassies, Governments, Legal Firms and Health Insurance providers.

Self-Funded Referrals

We welcome self-funded patients and assist at every stage of the process; from initial enquiry to admission to preparing for discharge and post-discharge. We will advise of what medical reports are needed and assist you in requesting records. We can also liaise with other healthcare networks if also deemed necessary. You would have your own key-worker on arrival to ensure effective communication.

We can discuss with patients directly and with friends and family if we have their consent or the person calling has an LPA in place. Our telephone lines and emails are received by staff that can advise of the enquiry process and connect you directly with our friendly clinical team.

Embassy Referrals

Let our administration team help facilitate your patient transfer from abroad. We also offer an additional bolt-on service for overseas patients such as interpreting assistance and transport. Call us for more information on how we can help.

Private Health Insurance Referrals

We are happy to complete initial screens and write to insurance companies with our recommendations to support a period of rehabilitation if we believe this is in the best interest of the patient.

Some Health Insurance providers will fund rehabilitation in full or cover a period of inpatient rehabilitation. We suggest that all patients confirm directly with their health insurance whether funding is possible prior to booking treatment. We also require a letter from the referring consultant before a patient can be admitted.

Case Management/Legal Firms

We regularly network with Case Management and Legal Firms throughout the year and are therefore familiar with the procedures involved in delivering care to case managed patients and liaising with their representatives. We have established networks with existing Case Management and Legal Firms and welcome any new connections. We can provide assessments and quotes and agree on the correct level of care and therapy needed. We are able to provide emergency admissions for people who have had breakdowns in care provision.
