The number of therapy sessions will vary depending on the level of care recommended. The inpatient pathway can include specialist neurotherapy disciplines and access to key rehabilitation facilities.
Cognitive, emotional and psychological support as part of the rehabilitation pathway.
Movement, balance, strength, mobility and motor recovery support.
Functional independence, daily living skills and real-world rehabilitation goals.
Communication and swallowing support where clinically required.
Access to the hydropool during therapy, where appropriate to the care plan.
Access to the rehabilitation gym as part of therapy planning and delivery.
The following services and medical requirements are charged at an additional cost. These should be discussed clearly as part of admission planning, depending on the patient’s needs and care pathway.
Medication prescriptions may be charged separately.
Diagnostic testing, including blood tests, may be an additional cost.
Any required imaging services may be charged separately.
Private ambulance transport is not included as standard.
Dietary advice and dietician visits may be added where needed.
Costs linked to Neuro Occupational Therapy outings, such as park admission, events, public transport or shopping items, may be charged separately.
A number of supplementary services can be added to a core package. These are quoted in advance and invoiced accordingly. If a request is not listed, the team can advise whether it can be accommodated.
Extra neurotherapy sessions over and above those already agreed.
Additional one-to-one rehabilitation assistance, for example 12 hours a day.
Dedicated one-to-one nursing care where requested or clinically appropriate.
Translation support to help patients and families communicate during care.
